Official Promotion Rules

1. Eligibility for Promotion: All Memorial Credit Union (“MCU”) Members in good standing who obtain an auto loan with MCU during the period beginning November 1, 2023, and ending December 31, 2023, are automatically entered. Participation is limited to eligible persons who are 18 years or older and U.S. residents. By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. No purchase is necessary.

1. Promotion Period: The Promotion period begins on November 1, 2023, and ends on December 31, 2023, and applies to entries received by MCU during this period. Employees of MCU, members of the Board of Directors, and the immediate family members of each residing in the same household are not eligible. Winner will be notified by MCU using the contact information on record. If any prize is unclaimed, an alternate winner will be chosen.

1. Prizes: MCU will award one prize to one qualifying member consisting of the following: Up to $583 per month for 12 months (12 monthly payments) totaling $7,000 to an auto loan with MCU. Prize includes payment of loan principal and interest only. Member is responsible for making the remaining loan payment if over $583 per month. The odds of winning will depend upon the number of applicants, which may be substantial, and MCU makes no assurances about the applicant’s chance of receiving the prize.

1. Automatic Entries: Automatic entry and eligibility for this prize promotion is based on the member applying for a new automobile loan funded by MCU or the refinancing of a previously obtained, non-MCU auto loan and receiving funding from MCU during the promotion period. If the account is a multiple-party account, the entry will be based on the primary account owner and each loan financed will receive one entry.

1. Manual Entries: No purchase necessary. All other entries will be entered in the drawing to win one of the prizes upon receipt of a written entry on a 3 x 5 piece of paper setting forth the entrant’s name, address, telephone number, and account number/member number if applicable. Entries must be mailed to: Memorial Credit Union at Attn: Auto Loan Promotion, 7789 Southwest Freeway, Suite 175, Houston, Texas 77074. One entry per person and/or household; and MCU is not responsible for lost, late, misdelivered, incomplete, or postage-due entries.

1. Prize Claim: To claim the prize, the winner must sign and return a release and an affidavit of eligibility and publicity release to Memorial Credit Union at Attn: Auto Loan Promotion, 7789 Southwest Freeway, Suite 175, Houston, Texas 77074, within 14 days of notification, or prizes will, at MCU’s discretion, be forfeited. The prize will be awarded only if entrants comply with these Official Rules. No cash or other consideration will be paid.

1. Agreement: You agree that entry into the Promotion did not induce you to become a member of MCU or obtain an auto loan with MCU during the Promotion period. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name and photograph or likeness for advertising and promotional services without compensation. Prize winner is responsible for all federal, state, local, or other taxes or other assessments that may be associated with or imposed upon the winner of any prize in this promotion.

1. Release of Claims: The winner, members of any winner’s household, relatives, and persons who use any prize awarded by MCU, and such person’s heirs, assigns, executors, and administrators release and exempt MCU and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, actions, demands, chooses in action and damages which they have now or any time in the future arising from the use of any prize, including personal injury or death.

1. Winner: The name of the prize winner will be posted at all MCU branches and will be published in other information resources (including MCU’s website and newsletter). Winner will be selected in January 2024, in a random drawing from among the eligible entrants received. The selection of the prize winner hereunder will be final.
